Impressions from the 2020/21 competition

The European Piano Competition Bremen 2021 took place from 12-18.7.2021 in the Sendesaal Bremen. Numerous guests feverishly participated under the special conditions of the Corona pandemic both in the Sendesaal Bremen and in the livestream. In the end, the international jury awarded the following prizes:
Valère Burnon - 1st prize
Lukas Sternath - 2nd prize
Aleksandr Zakharov - 3rd prize
Lukas Sternath - Audience Award (this year awarded by pupils)

The following special prizes were also awarded:
Valère Burnon - prize for the best interpretation of the commissioned composition “Bursting Light” by Matan Porat.
Kiron Atom Tellian - prize for the youngest semifinalist
Anna Khomichko - prize for the excellent interpretation of a piece of music by a female composer
