The competition exists thanks to the successful cooperation of various partners who have gradually followed the founders Landesmusikrat Bremen, Radio Bremen and Sparkasse Bremen: Glocke Veranstaltungs-GmbH in 1999 and Bremer Philharmoniker GmbH in 2005; the German Youth Hostel Association joined in 2007 and Sendesaal Bremen in 2010.
